Sixteen Harvard men are entered in the Class B Massachusetts State Squash Tournament, starting this week at the Union Boat Club.
Conspicuous among these, is E. M. Shelton '31, the only entry from University Team B, recently winner of the state team championship. Caleb Cauman '29, D. F. Davis '30, and C. H. Kawakami '30 are entered from University Team C, and Beekman Pool '32 and A. W. Patterson '32, numbers one and two respectively of the Freshman team, are also expected to show up well.
The other Harvard entrants are as follows: R. O. Bishop '29; C. W. Eiseman '30, Channing Frothingham '31, Donald Gay '30, Gordon Huggins '29, W. S. Meany 1L, Daniel Merriman '32, T. D. Mumford '29, Burton Richardson '29, A. G. Thacher '29.
The eight matches of the preliminary round must be played off before tonight and the first round is to be completed Saturday. There are 66 entries in all.
