Playing before a small crowd at Hanover on Saturday night, the University basketball team was overwhelmed by Dartmouth, 45 to 18.
The Crimson five was outclassed from the start, scoring only four goals from the floor during the entire game. The poor passing and shooting of the Harvard players, together with their inability to cope with the speed and accuracy of the Dartmouth quintet made the contest extremely uninteresting for the spectators.
A large number of personal fouls were called, forcing out Captain R. H. O'Connell '29, and Lewin and Hein of Dartmouth.
T. E. Farrell '31 was high scorer for Harvard, while Schmidt, Spaeth, and Cheney were outstanding for the Green.
