Recently the Vagabond has heard it noised around quite a bit in the circles that know that there is going to be a Yale game in Cambridge next week end. There is some news; and the Vagabond in his earnest desire to keep his readers posted on really worth while events hastens to pass the glad tidings along to his readers together with a timely tip or two.
It may be a little early to talk about Yale, games, even to think about them. In fact the Vagabond was so pleasantly surprised with the news last evening that he lay awake all night listening to the four faced clock tick just over his bed in Memorial Tower. After this warning against undue premature excitement there is no reason for not going now into a few details.
In the first place, it is not too tactful to put everything off until the last second. The average male has absolutely no idea how his fair guests look forward to these Yale-Harvard games. While week-ending in New York last Wednesday the Vagabond met no less than thirteen girls who confided in him their secret. It seems even at that early date they had not been able to touch food for twenty four hours. And with all, their dates were only with Yale boys.
Men bringing guests from a distance will find other matters on their hands besides enchantment. In reserving rooms at the Ritz, the Vagabond suggests action by the middle of the week. If this business is left until Friday there is chance that most of the better rooms will have been taken.
Also if you want fifth row orchestra seats from musical comedy box offices the experience of the past suggests a little forethought. Most important of all are the tickets for the game. Inquiry yesterday at the H. A. A. brought forth the fact that only a few 50 yard seats were to be had. As this location is rather desirable, immediate action is recommended.
Should the benefit of the Vagabond's rare experience be needed in the handling of specific problems he would be happy to be of help. There is no charge for this service. Just address him in care of the CRIMSON.
