Smith Halls swamped the other Freshman dormitories in the 1933 inter-dormitory track meet yesterday, when, in four events, Smith runners captured three first and two second places. H. F. Kollmyer '33 placed first in the 100 yard dash and the 220 yard run.

Despite the fact that compulsory Freshman Hygiene lectures prevented a great many men from entering the meet, all the halls were well represented in each event. Where a Freshman living outside the dormitories wished to enter the meet he was assigned to run for some one of the four halls.

The final standings were: Smith, 21; McKinlock, 6; Gore, 4 1-2; Standish, 4 1-2.

440 yard run--Won by G. P. Rosen, (McKinlock); second, Newell Bent, Jr. (Standish); third, R. W. Turner (Standish), Time--57 3-5 sec.

100 yard dash--Won by H. F. Kollmyer, (Smith); second, W. J. Loughran (Gore); third, E. C. Pinkerton (McKinlock), Time--11 sec.

880 yard run--Won by G. P. Webber (Smith); second, L. M. Adelsohn (Smith); third, A. J. Matursevitch (Gore), Time--2 min, 21 sec.

220 yard run--Won by H. F. Kollmyer (Smith); second, G. F. Bennett (Smith); third, D. M. Sullivan (Standish) and W. D. Claff (Gore), Time--25 sec.
