To the Editor of the Crimson:
There are two vestiges of so-called "collegiate" phenomena left at Harvard, and they are worth calling to the attention of the university at large.
They are one (1) Ford, letterd up with clear and not so clever slogans, and the Hasty Pudding initiations. Although they are both much out-of-place in a supposedly enlightened institution like Harvard, they are testify that some undergraduates are still children after all.
I don't know who or what the owners of the decorated flivyer are but it does seem as though the Institute of 1770, after all these years, would have attained sophistication enough to put aside childish things.
