The Harvard eleven which will start against the West Point cadets on Saturday, although not yet officially announced, now seems pretty definitely made up. The lineups of the past two days of practice seem to indicate that Team A, as it ran through signals yesterday, with but one exception, will open against Army.
The one exception is Ginman, who filled in at right guard for Talbot yesterday. Talbot was absent because of a late class. Otherwise the regular lineup with Ogden at left end. White at full-back, and W. Ticknor at right tackle will probably answer the call of the opening whistle.
Light Practice Order of Week
Yesterday's practice was light, a half-hour's signal drill constituting the bulk of the work. Coach Horween will continue these sessions all week in order to prevent any injuries and to perfect a smooth running combination. Work in individual assignments is also being stressed more and more this week so that the signals will be sure to click.
Myerson, Davis Back Today
With the exception of the four seriously injured players, Harper, Douglas, Levin and Greeley, only Myerson and Davis did not appear in uniform today. They are expected back today ready for a likely dummy scrimmage against Army plays, as put on by the seconds.
The lineups:
Team A: l.e., Ogden, l.t., Barrett, l.g., Trainer, c., B. Ticknor, r.g., Ginman, r.t., W. Ticknor, r.e., O'Connell, q.b., Putnam, l.h.b., Huguley, r.h.b., Gilligan, f.b., White.
