Fire; smoke, and echoes of combustion struck momentary fear in the hearts of P. B. H. guardians late yesterday afternoon. An alarm was turned in. Emergency bucket brigades were formed.
It was not until a Cambridge hook and ladder unit clamored onto the scene that the flames were localized in a spare scrap basket. No statement has since been issued as to the extent of the damage. The apparent loss consisted of one waste container.
