New Haven, Conn., May 30--The Harvard Freshman baseball team kept its record unspotted by defeat by winning from the Yale Freshmen, 8 to 7, in a game replete with bad baseball.
The Crimson first year men opened the scoring with four tallies in the opening inning and four more in the fifth. Two hits and a little wildness on the part of the Eli hurlers presidia the scoring opportunities in both cases.

Struck out--by MacHale 6, by Wheeter 3, by Cruikshank 1, by Dunn 1, Hits--off Cruikshank, 2 in 3 innings; off Wheeler, 1 in 1 1-3 innings; off Dunn, 3 in 6 2-3 innings, Hit by pitcher--by Cruikshank (Bassett), by MacHale (Vuncent), Wild pitch--Cruikshank.
