Five concerts have been scheduled for the Freshman Instrumental Clubs, it was announced last night by C. D. Dillon 31, manager of the combined clubs.
The first appearance is tentatively scheduled for next Monday, when the combined clubs will perform at the V Veterans Hospital. The next concert will be held at the Freshman Smoker, when part of the clubs will present a short program in the Union. The date of the Smoker has not yet been definitely decided upon, but will probably come at the end of this month.
On the evening of May 7, the combined clubs will give their annual Brattle Hall concert. A program at Worcester Academy has been arranged for the following week when all the members will journey to Worcester for the last appearance before the wind up of the season at the Freshman Jubilee on May 29.
Among the songs that the local club will sing in the coming entertainments are the following:
"Drake's Drum," "Salamaleikum," "Secrets," "Rolling Down to Rio," "Old Man Noah," "Laughing Song," "Australia," and a medley of football songs. The Vocal Club has been rehearsing industriously for the past month under the tutelage of R. P. Bullard '24, co-star with B. F. Cogan '24 in former Hasty Pudding productions.
