HEMENWAY INDOOR NETS WILL BENEFIT GOLFERS

In order that golf may be made more available as a means of exercise, two indoor golf nets have been installed in Hemenway Gymnasium, by the Harvard Athletic Association, according to an announcement made yesterday by N. W. Fradd, director of Hemenway Gymnasium.

These courts will be open to all members of the University. Players may sign up for periods of one half hour each, similar to the handball and squash schedules.

The University Golf Team will also have the use of these nets in its early practices. In the past the team has been limited because of the lack of a course, within convenient distance. In addition to setting up the practice nets, the H. A. A. has made arrangements for 24 memberships of a limited nature at the Belmont Springs Country Club for the University and Freshman squads. This arrangement will give the Crimson golfers an official and independent home for their practice sessions during the coming season.
