The Harvard Second University football team meets the Yale seconds at New Haven this afternoon in the final game of the season.

The Blue contingent has played only two official games, defeating Roxbury by a 13 to 0 count, and holding the Princeton seconds to a scoreless tie. The first half of the Princeton game ended with the ball on the Tigers two foot line. The New Haven scrubs have been undefeated in the few unofficial games they played but have spent most of their time scrimmaging with the Yale University team, against which they have performed well.

The Crimson seconds have not such an enviable record, largely because of their difficult schedule. They showed their endurance and power in defeating three class teams, the championship Freshman dormitory team, and the ineligibles in one afternoon. Their best offensive attack was demonstrated in the 26 to 13 defeat of the championship Abington team.

Since the Abington encounter, moreover, the Harvard scrubs have improved materially, especially in the consistancy of their play, which showed only occasional flashes of potentialities earlier in the season.

Robert Gilmor '31 has proved the most consistent ground gainer throughout the season, while V. R. Kiser '29, the outstanding defensive player of the team, has several times demonstrated his ability on goal line stands.
