While the University Athletic Council has already signed up one or two colleges for the program next fall, investigations show that nothing has yet been done toward including Harvard on the list. The Daily Herald has always taken the stand that an old tradition, such as the football, series with Harvard, even if unfortunately temporarily disrupted should be kept up.
In the issue of March 9, 1927, the Daily Herald published an open letter from the Harvard Crimson which stated that Harvard itself desired a resumption of football relations. The break last year was due to the policy of a "Rotating Schedule" at Cambridge, but that does not prevent a game next fall. The letter also states that the break was in no way due to bad feeling between the undergraduates of the two universities. We feel that the students at both universities desire the annual series to be renewed. Brown Daily Herald
