A field goal during the last three minutes of play gave the 1932 football team a 3 to 0 victory over Exeter on Saturday. E. B. Wood '32, first year quarterback, booted the ball over from the 10-yard line for the winning points.
Forwards Feature First Half
The play during the first half was mostly in the middle of the field, both teams trying long forward passes. Exeter showed remarkable proficiency in this department, and the Freshmen got off several good passes, notably those from F. T. Gilligan '32 to Wood, and from Wood to E. A. Mays '32.
Rollins and Dean Star
Eor Exeter, Rollins and Dean were the most consistent ground-gainers, while Gilligan and Mays showed up well for the Crimson. After Wood kicked the field goal, Exeter threatened the Harvard goal, but a pass was intercepted just before the close of the game.
