At the annual conference of the Eastern International Debating League held Saturday at Darthmouth, two important changes in the rules governing league debates were made.
Henceforth at all league debates there are to be two judges and the vote of the audience is to be considered as a third. This will make the debating more of the plan of English contests. Previous to this meeting all subjects for league debates have been chosen by one man. Hereafter, according to the decision made, subjects will be chosen by the executive committee.
The members of the league, in addition to Harvard are: Yale, Princeton, University, of Pennsylvania, Amherst, Brown, Wesleyan, Williams, and Dartmouth.
