When students become uncontrollable the police have a perfect right to interfere but when the arm of the law strikes out unknowingly and unjustly the act assumes a sour aspect and deserves authoritative attention and immediate investigation. No police force can expect the cooperation of students when such uncalled for action is taken and we hope that episodes of this kind will not be repeated if mutual understanding between the undergraduates and the law is to prosper.
