Second Nine Loses

The University Second baseball team fell before the onslaught of the St. John's Preparatory School team of Dancers on Soldiers Field yesterday by a score of 5 to 2. The schoolboys touched E. L. Melloy '29 for seven hits, but the Sophomore twirler kept the blows well scattered, never allowing more than two hits in any one inning Carnes, pitching for the visitors, did an artistic job on the mound holding the second team to three scattered hits.

The St. John's players scored all their runs in the second frame on two hits, a wild pitch, and helpful Harvard errors in the field. The University Seconds tallied on a walk, a hit batsman, and a single.
