THE STUDENT VAGABOND

How great will be the dilemma upon whose horns the Vagabond will this morning dangle only his fond readers can guess.

For at nine o'clock does not Dr. Hornbeck thrill every Vagabondian chest with a talk on "China: The Scramble for Concessions. 1844-1900" in Harvard 5? And yet, opposition, cerebral, colossal, rises at notice of Professor Usher's lecture on "The Exchange Fairs" in Widener U at the same hour.

Ten o'clock offers another moot question to the Vagabondian public when Professor Demos explains William James' Conception of Free Will to those who make Emerson D a throw back to the Platonic Academy. At the same hour Dr. Mason in Emerson F will expound "Marxism and Bolshevism," a lecture which should draw heavily from those who are interested in socialistic ideas.

At noon, Professor Gulick will offer a few well-chosen words on the Greek Comedy, in Sever 26. Professor Post will discover Venetian painting to those who make Fogg Museum their goal. Professor Mather in the Geology Museum will discuss the evolution of mammals.
