THE STUDENT VAGABOND

Ravina attended the performance of the "Missa Solemnis" yesterday evening, he Vagabond will continue the gratification of his musical sense by going to Paine Hall this evening at 8.15 o'clock, where an exposition of chamber music under the direction of Mr. Arthn Whiting is to be held.

The Krentzer Sonata" is to be played, an appropriate selection in view of the approaching Beethoven centennial, and a work considered one of the finest of Beethoven's in the field of chamber music. A further enticement to Vagabonds will be the rendering of a trio by Brahms.

In these days when the word Imperialism first begins to make its appearance in criticisms of the foreign policies of the United States, when the interest of the whole nation is focused on the Nicaraguan situation, on the Tacna-Anca problem, and on Mexico, and when the Latin-American nations seem to be arousing into an audible self-consciousness for the first time, everything concerning Latin-America is of interest. For this reason vagabonds, desiring to insure that completely rounded set of interests which admits them to the ranks of the intelligentsia and cognoscenti, will attend Professor Haring's lecture in Harvard 2 at 10 o'clock upon "Argentina, 1880-1900."

At high noon the Vagabond is confronted with the same problem which gave him halt on Monday, for Professor Post at Fogg Museum is continuing his series of lectures on "Florentine Painting of the Fifteenth Century", while Professor Conant at Robinson Hall continues his discussion of Early Christian architecture with a lecture on "Basilicas."
