Desiring to obtain a new design for a Championship Meet poster, the Intercollegiate Association of Amateur Athletes of America has offered three prizes for the best poster design in color depicting a track or field athlete in action.
First prize is $25, the second is $15, and the third is $10. All who wish to enter the contest may submit drawings, and the prizes will be paid whether or not any poster merits acceptance.
The Association, in announcing the competition, emphasizes the fact that the poster is to be used for advertising purposes, and must be designed to catch and hold the attention of passers-by to the fact that a championship track meet is to be held.
The competition will close January 10, 1928, and posters are to be submitted at the offices of the Association, 57 East Fifty-sixth Street, New York City.
