A narration of experiences on the peaks of the Canadian Rockies last summer will be the subject of a lecture to be given by A. J. Ostheimer '29 in the Living Room of the Union tomorrow evening at 7.15 o'clock. Ostheimer will show slides and motion pictures of the expedition which he led last June to the snowy heights of Alberta and British Columbia.
In the research party were five guides and pack-men and two other undergraduates of the University. John de Laittre '29 and W. R. Maclaurin '29. Thirty peaks never before scaled were conquered by the group of mountaineers, and a thorough study was made of the geology, glaciation, topography, and natural history of the regions explored.
In his talk tomorrow night, open only to Union members, Ostheimer will give the first complete account of the attack on the Clemencean ice field.
