AMHERST SOCCER TEAM CONQUERS CRIMSON, 4-2

Kane and Vogel Account for Harvard Scores in Hard Game--Freshmen Drop Contest to Tabor, 2 to 1

The University soccer team lost a hard fought game to Amherst Saturday afternoon on Soldiers Field when the visiting team scored twice in the last period to win, 4 to 2. The Freshmen booters were likewise defeated on Saturday, dropping a 2 to 1 decision to the Tabor Academy eleven.

Bernard Barnes '30, L. L. Driggs '28, and A. M. Stollmeyer '30 starred for the University. E. F. Clark '28, right fullback, was injured in the game and will be unable to play for two weeks. Steele and Harmon played a stellar game for Amherst. Louis Kerness '29, and W. D. Vogel '30 accounted for the Crimson scores.
