Union Chooses Essay Judges

The Harvard Union with the announcement of the judges last night completed the arrangement for its annual essay contest.

A first prize of $35 and a second of fifteen will be awarded by three judges, chosen from the University Faculty. These arbiters are: Langdon Warner '03. Fellow of the Fogg Art Museum for Research in Asia. Professor K.G.T. Webster '93, of the Department of English, and L.D. Peterkin Instructor and Tutor in the Division of Modern Languages.

Any subject suitable for essay treatment may be selected, the whole not to exceed 2500 words in length. Theses written for courses will not be accepted, according to the announcement of the Union management.

Essays must be in on or before March 1.
