The Business School Dining Halls will open at noon today when luncheon will be served for the first time in McCullock and Chase Halls. Enough men have applied for reservations to fill these two halls to capacity.
Over 80 percent of the available residents in the Business School dormitories have already signed up for meals in the dining halls, and their success seems assured.
Third Hall Opens Soon
A third hall will open, available for students living in Morris and Hamilton Halls as soon as a hundred men have applied for regular board. A circular stating the price and the method of applying will be sent to these men in Morris and Hamilton tomorrow.
Student waiters are employed in both McCullock and Chase Halls. They will be used in all the Business Schools' restaurants. It is expected that the Business School will be able to furnish men for all the waiter positions, but if they do not, men in other branches of the University will be considered. In addition to the regular service opportunity will be given to order special dishes at reasonable additional charges.
Equipment is Perfect
As to the equipment of the Business School Dining Halls, the kitchens for serving meals are as up to date and complete as any in the United States. The Dining Rooms have been designed and furnished with great taste and care and are most attractive. When plans are completed there will be 10 dining halls in all, six in the Dormitories, two in the Faculty Club, one in the Student's Club, besides a dining hall for employees.
