Fresh from their triumphs in the Knights of Columbus games, the Crimson track men are looking forward to their second clash of the season in the Millrose Athletic Association games, which will be run off on February 2 in Madison Square Garden, New York City. Three days later the University runners will compete in the annual Boston Athletic Association in the Boston Arena.
Coach E. L. Farrell expects to send a large squad to New York for the second test of the season. His charges have been entered in the one mile relay, in the dashes, the pole vault, and the 1000-yard run. The Columbia racers, slated to clash with the Crimson in the feature one-mile relay, were withdrawn, and the University of Maryland has elected to clash with the University of Virginia and Harvard in this event. The Virginia quartet is exceptionally fast. Plans are still in the air as to who will leave the marks for the University in the relay, but Coach Farrell announced that he will undoubtedly choose his quartet from G. A. Tupper '29, L. D. Brayton '28, W. C. Peet '28, A. H. O'Neil '28, E. C. Haggerty '27, R. H. Rryan '28, and W. H. Hulsman '29.
The dash events will see A. H. Miller '27, C. G. T. Lundell '27, and H. W. Burns '28 entered against a galaxy of stars. Burbank and Clark have been put down for the polo vault. Haggerty and O'Neil are slated to run in the 1000-yard event.
