WRESTLING TEAM WINS FROM M. I. T., 18 1-2 TO 4 1-2

TECHNOLOGY LEADER FINALLY GAINS VICTORY FROM WOOD

In a close meet last night at M. I. T. the Harvard grapplers defeated the Technology wrestlers by a score of 18 1-2 to 4 1-2, showing marked improvement of form over their performance against Columbia a week ago.

Although considerably weakened by the absence of Joseph Lifrak '29, star 145 pounder, Captain Wood's men had little trouble in gaining three decisions and a fall over their opponents.

A battle of captains featured the meet, resulting in a victory for Captain Franks of M. I. T. over Captain H.R. Wood '27 of Harvard. In the overtime period the Tech leader held Wood to the mat for the referee's decision.

The 135 pound event resulted in a draw between W.S. Green '28 of Harvard and Del Maraeronsian. After two three-minute overtimes had failed to give one man an edge on the other, the three points were split between them.
