Five men have been chosen to compete in the finals of the speaking for the medal offered by the Comite France-Amerique of Paris for the best original declamation in French. The speeches will be given at 8 o'clock Thursday night in Paine Hall.
The men who have been selected to speak and the subjects they have chosen are: R. S. Coolidge '27, "L'Accord Economique France-Allemand"; J. M. Doyle '27, "La France et Locarno; R. S. Fiske '28, "la Dette des Etas-Unis a la France vers 1800"; C. S. M. Grayson '27, "La Dette 'Francaise aux Etas Unis"; W. F. Nash '26, "L'Ecrivain Francais d'Aujourd 'hui."
Professor Alfred Jeauroy, Exchange Professor from the University of Paris, will preside. The judges are to be Professor Albert Sauvour. Mr. J. C. Palamountain, and Mr. E. L. Raiche.
