The University Glee Club will give its last formal performance of the season tonight when a selected group of 75 men will alternate with the orchestra at the Pops concert in providing the music for the evening. G. W. Woodworth '24, who has been acting conductor during the past year, in the absence of Dr. Davison, will lead the Club tonight.
The concert will open at 8.15 o'clock, with a group of three selections by the orchestra under M. Jacchia, which will be followed by the Glee Club. The first group which the Club will give contains in it a series of four folk songs, which are of particular interest since they have been chosen as typical of the folk music of the various countries which they represent. In one of them, "Turn Ye to Me," a Scottish song, E. B. Nichols '26, will be the tenor soloist.
Brahms Love Song Included
The second group which the Club will render, also contains in it an interesting series of songs consisting of five of the very beautiful love songs by Brahms.
