CLEE CLUB TO SING IN MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS

90 MEN SLATED TO TAKE PART IN PERFORMANCE

Taking up again a custom which, until last year had been in existence for several seasons, the University Glee Club will give a concert at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. The first concert which the Club gave at the Museum was in 1920, and. except for last year, it has held concerts there every spring.

About 90 men will take part in the performance, and will be led by G. W. Woodworth '24, acting-conductor during the past season. The Club will sing a program of songs selected from those which it has studied during the past year and which it has performed at its concerts in Symphcny Hall.

Once selection a group of choral hymns from the Rig-Veda, is particularly noteworthy. These hymns are adaptations of old Hindu music, by the English composer Holst. The solo in one of them, the Hymn to Manas, will be sung by W. B. Wood 2G.B. Another group of interest is a collection of four folk songs, in one of which, a Scottish song called "Turn Ye to Me," E. B. Nichols '26 will sing the tenor solo.

Doors Open at 7 O'clock

The concert tonight is open, free of charge, to the public, and the doors will be opened at 7 o'clock. It has been estimated that between 4,000 and 5,000 people have attended the concerts which the Club has given previously at the Museum of Fine Arts.
