Perhaps she is right. Poor Pompilia may not be her child. At least she is the count's wife. But what was she doing with the youthful priest Caponsacchi on the evening of the twenty-fifth of July?

This trial which has stirred the commonwealth of New Jersey to the very depths has sent state's attorney Boobson and his under officers into the mazes of the most amazing murder and divorce trial combined in the history of New Jersey law.

Commenting on the case only this morning Dr. John Straton Narrow told the Corrugated Press correspondent that it was the worst example of mystery he had seen since the birth of the Neanderthal man. Also Her Royal Highness the Queen of Rheumatica has offerred to send her comments over the C.P. wire every day for the next year at reduced rates.
