President Lowell and Bishop William Lawrence '71, Bishop of Massachusetts, are among the nine speakers who will appear on the platform of Peabody Hall on Sunday afternoons at 4 o'clock under the auspices of the Graduate Schools Society of Phillips Brooks House, between now and the Spring vacation.
These nine lectures are part of the general course on religion, which is being given under the auspices of Phillips Brooks House for the second successive year. The course has met with widespread approval and has been steadily attended by an average of between 400 and 500 people every Sunday.
At the end of the addresses the floor is thrown open for oral questioning. The lectures are open to all members of the University but not to the general public.
