HARVARD CAPTURES RACQUET LAURELS

Upsets Baker in Decisive Win--Rawlins Beats Powers--Seconds Eliminated by Harvard Club

Debevoise '26, played brilliantly to capture four out of five matches from the Boston. Athletic Association on the University courts in the final meeting of the season last Saturday afternoon, thereby retaining the championship of the Massachusetts Squash Racquets Association for another year. In the Class B series, the Harvard Club put an end to hopes for a Harvard championship in this class by winning three out of five matches from the University second team Saturday afternoon on the courts of the winners. The Freshman racquet wielders advanced to sixth place in the Class C race with a three out of five win over the Newton Club players on the Newton courts Saturday.

Debevoise Wins Decisively

Captain Debevoise started the Crimson squad on the road to victory with a decisive victory over State Champion M. P. Baker '22. After dropping the first game to his opponent, the University leader settled down to a flawless game which gave the loser no openings. H. N. This is the second consecutive year that Rawlins has beaten the Unicorn star in the championship match. The only loss of the contest came when E. M. Upjohn '25, member of last year's Crimson team, defeated P. M. Lenhart '27, after losing the first game.

The fourth match between L. S. Haskins '26 and Bowditch of the Boston team was the closest of the day. The University player finished strongly to win the last two games after dropping the first and third. With the state crown safely in the Crimson's possession, T. E.
