TWO RESIGNATIONS ARE ANNOUNCED IN FACULTY

G. S. Raymer '78 to Become Professor Emeritus--R. S. Meriam '14 Will Go to Amherst--Effective This Year

G. S. Raymer '78. Associate-Professor of Mining in the University since 1919, and an instructor in the University since 1899 will resign at the end of the academic year to become professor, emeritus, according to an announcement made yesterday. Professor Raymer graduated from the University in 1878, and received his degree of Master of Engineering from Columbia in 1881.

Another resignation announced yesterday was that of Assistant-Professor R. S. Meriam who will leave the Economics department at the end of the year to accept a position at Amherst in the fall of 1925. Professor Meriam graduated from the University in 1914, serving as a tutor in the Division of History, Government, and Economics, and coming to the University in 1919 to teach.
