GLEE CLUB CHORUS WILL SING BRAHM'S REQUIEM AT SYMPHONY

Koussevitsky Will Act as Conductor at Concert Tonight

The first performance of the Brahms "Requiem" will be given by the University Glee Club this evening in Symphony Hall at 8.15 o'clock. The performance will be one of the most ambitious under-takings that the Glee Club has attempted and will require an unusually large number of voices and accompaniments.

Mr. Serge Koussevitsky, leader of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, has been obtained to act as guest conductor of the Club at the invitation of Dr. A. T. Davison '06, who is the Club's regular conductor and coach. The Club has announced that it feels particularly fortunate in securing Mr. Koussevitsky as it is the first time since his arrival in America that he has consented to act in such a capacity. He is one of the most famous conductors and musicians of the time and is of international reputation.
