Floors Kolodzyczyl in Six Minutes--Locke Loses in Extra Periods--Harvard Also Wins Second Team Title

Harvard grapplers left the mat victorious by a narrow margin Saturday night, in the New England Intercollegiate Championship, winning over Brown 19 to 16. M. I. T. came in last with a tally of nine points.

The only fall of the evening was scored by Stearns of Harvard over Kolodzyczyl of Brown, in the 135-pound class. Though Harvard gained only two first places, as against Brown's four, the Crimson men scored heavily in the runner-up column, winning five second places.

Heavyweights Need Extra Period

The most evenly matched pair of the contest were Locke of Harvard and Burke of Tech., heavyweights, who were forced to fight out their match through six extra periods, when Burke won by a time advantage of 2 minutes 14 seconds.

The Crimson second team won its contest with 24 points, Brown and M. I. T. trailing with 17 and 7 points respectively. A silver cup was presented to the victorious seconds.

115-Pound Class--Krook (H) won from Coyle (M. I. T.), by referee's decision.

125-Pound Class--Brightman (B) won from Goldberg (H) by referee's decision.

135-Pound Class--Stearns (H) defeated Kolodzyczyl (B) by fall in 6m. 128; Runner-up, Hosch (M. I. T.).

145-Pound Class--Sulzberger (B) won from Harris (M. I. T.) by referee's decision. Runner-up, Harmon (H).

158-Pound Class--Freedman (B) won from Wood (H) by referee's decision.

175-Pound Class--Eckstein (B) won from Bradford (H) by referee's decision.

Heavyweight Class--Burke (M. I. T.) won from Locke (H) by an overtime advantage, 2m. 14s., after six 3-minute overtime periods.
