STUDENT COUNCIL PLANS TO FOSTER GRADUATE REUNIONS

Problems before the Student Council at its meeting in University Hall last night included that of bringing more closely together the graduates and the undergraduate body.

The New England Federation of Harvard Clubs each spring holds a homecoming celebration, which has, in recent years, been falling off in popularity. The purpose of these gathings is to further understanding between graduates and undergraduates, but they have been ineffectual through failure of the student body to cooperate.

Representatives from every Harvard Club in New England have planned to come together for a dinner in Boston, on the evening of December 4, to discuss plans for the next celebration. A committee of eight members of the Student Council was invited to attend the dinner, and accepted.

It is proposed that at homecoming celebrations each spring, a committee of the Student Council act as hosts to the graduate visitors, giving them so far as possible an indication of present day student life and activity.
