FRESHMAN OARSMEN WILL BE SHIFTED IN PRACTICE

SCULLING REGATTA SCHEDULED TO START MONDAY

The three Freshman crews will go on the water today with radically changed seating, only one of which, however, affects the Red boat.

C. H. Olmstead, who has been rowing number two on the Red crew has changed places with H. A. Lewis, taking his place in the White boat at number 6. Some of the other changes to be made are between M. L. Bell and J. W. Onterbridge, both in the White Crew, the shift of Dean Chamberlain from the White to the Blue Crew at number 3, and an exchange between W. L. Shearer and A. A. Houghton in the White boat.

Seating is Announced

The seating in the three crews, beginning this afternoon, is as follows:

Red Crew--Stroke, C. M. Norton; 7, W. T. Emmet; 6, R. B. Harkness; 5, Edward 'Hamlin; 4, F. K. Smith; 3, John Floyd; 2, H. A. Lewis; bow, A. J. Ostheimer III; cox., R. H. Miller.

1929 May Still Sign Up

Coach Haines has announced that any Freshmen who have not yet enrolled may sign up for rowing any afternoon. Blue books for entries to the sculling regatta, to be held Monday and Tuesday next week, are now posted in the Weld boat-house. All men who have rowed this fall in wherries, compromises, and singles are eligible to compete for the medals which have been offered as prizes.

On Thursday of this week J. R. Richardson '09, Chairman of the Rowing Committee, and W. C. Ladd '26 will leave for New York to attend a meeting of the American Stewards' Association, where all rowing schedules for the spring will be decided upon.
