After amassing a total score of 19 to 8 the University wrestling team returned home from Springfield College Saturday night with its first contest safely stowed away. Harvard's grapplers won five out of the seven matches.
Goldberg, in the 125-pound class, was the only Crimson contestant to win by a fall, which he gained just two seconds before the referee called time. Captain Hayne lost to Thomas of Springfield by a fall following a body hold.

One hundred and fifteen-pound class Won by M. Krooks, Harvard, over Brown, Springfield, on a decision.
One hundred and twenty-five-pound class Won by B. J. Goldberg, Harvard, over Johns, Springfield, fall in the last two seconds.
One hundred and thirty-five-pound class--Won by C. Stewarns, Harvard, over Oliver, Springfield, on a decision.
One hundred and fifty-eight pound class--Won by H. Wood, Harvard, over James, Springfield, on a decision.
One hundred and seventy-five pound class--Won by Thomas, Springfield, over Captain F. B. Hayne, Harvard, fall in 4m. 55s.
Unlimited class Won by C. H. Bradford, Harvard, over Hafner, Springfield, on a decision in the overtime period.
