THIRD WHITING CONCERT TO COME ONE WEEK FROM TODAY

Will Be Entirely Made Up of Selections From Brahms

Mr. Arthur Whiting will give the third concert in his series of expositions of Chamber Music, on Wednesday, January 21 at 8.15 o'clock in the John Knowles Paine Concert Hall of the Music Building. Mr. Whiting whose second concert was featured by eighteenth century French and German selections for the pianoforte, will this time devote himself entirely to Brahms. He will be accompanied by Mr. John Corigliano on the violin and Mr. Lajos Shuk on the violoncello. The concert will be open, free of charge to officers and students of the University and the public may purchase tickets at $1.25 each at Amee's Bookstore.

The program follows: Johannes Brahms  (1833-1897) Sonata, D minor op. 108  (Violin and Pianoforte) Intermezzo, E flat major, op. 118  (Pianoforte) Intermezzo, C major op. 119  (Pianoforte) Intermezzo, F minor op. 118  (Pianoforte) Ballade, G minor op. 118  (Pianoforte) Trio, B major, op. 8 (revised edition)  Violin, Violoncello and Pianoforte)
