INSTRUMENTAL CLUBS JOURNEY TO LOWELL

Program Tonight Will Be Shortened--Concerts at Smith and New Bedford Assured

Seventy members of the Instrumental Clubs will journey to Lowell to give a concert at 8 o'clock this evening under the auspices of the Harvard Club of Lowell, and for the benefit of the new Lowell High School.

A varied program has been arranged, which will include selections by the Mandolin and united Instrumental Clubs. In addition a "Vocal Unit" of 25 voices will render several of the old time popular and college songs which have been in great demand lately. G. B. Moynahan '26, popular dancing expert, will give several of his weird and clever exhibitions. Among the other specialty vaudeville acts will be a piano duet by Donald Frothingham '27 and S. L. Keleher '27, who played together all last year. At the close of the program the clubs will give a dance, supplying their own jazz orchestra under the direction of J. R. Wright '26. The management feels that tonight's program, shorter than that of the last three concerts, will be more satisfactory than the earlier concerts, which were criticized on the score of their length.

Developments over the week-end have practically assured concerts at Smith College and in New Bedford, both of which will come after mid-years. Tonight's concert is the last affair before the examination period.
