Detroit, Mich., June 6, 1924.--At the second session of the convention of the Associated Harvard Clubs today, with 300 members present, George Morrison '00 of Milwaukee was elected President for next year and Baltimore was selected as the scene of the next meeting. Other officers and committee were selected and at noon the largest Harvard banner in the world was unfurled, hanging ten stories high, on one of the main avenues. In the afternoon several reports were read, President Lowell addressed the alumni, five new clubs were admitted, and the new president of the association was installed in the chair. An informal dinner by classes concluded the day's ceremonies.
Tomorrow, entertainments will be the order of the day. A parade in the morning will be followed by a boat trip to Peche Isle, and a banquet in the evening will conclude the final day of the convention.
