The entire Senior Class will receive letters today explaining the plans which have been made for the annual spread-which Phillips Brooks House will give on Class Day, June 17. Although only members of the Class of 1924 will be reached by the mailing list, the invitation which Phillips Brooks House is extending includes all members of the University and their guests.
Arrangements have been completed with the Class Day Committee to set aside the entire quadrangle in front of Phillips Brooks House, bounded by Holden Chapel and Stoughton Hall, for the spread. The hours will be from 5.30 to 7.30, but the House will be open all day for the use of the Class Day guests. In case of rain, the Phillips Brooks House spread will be one of the few in Cambridge which will be held indoors, entirely protected from the weather.
Four Hundred Attended Last Year
Last year the spread was attended by over four hundred people, and present indications are that it will attend at least as many again this year. According to an announcement made last night by the Chairman of the Spread Committee, tickets at $1.10 each will be put on sale at Phillips Brooks House today. At the same time engraved invitations for guests will be available at ten cents each. Information regarding the spread may be obtained at Phillips Brooks House every day except Saturday.
