As a result of the edict issued by Police Station 1 of Cambridge, that regulations regarding parking would be rigidly enforced, over 40 students found their cars tagged yesterday morning for failure to observe the rules.
"We don't care how long they park," said the Sergeant to a CRIMSON reporter last night, "but they must have their lights lit. For the first offense they receive only a warning, but the second time they are brought to court, and are liable to a fine of $10."
It was intimated that Freshmen who park in front of the Freshman dormitories will not be immune for the police regard the collection of unlighted cars between Gore and Smith a serious menace in case of fire.
