By late yesterday afternoon President Eliot had received greetings from 150 colleges of the United States and Canada and from 90 Harvard Clubs in this country. The Harvard Clubs of North China, London, and France also sent their greetings. A cable also was received yesterday from the Harvard men in the Union Medical College of Peking, China.
