FRESHMEN TO TRY THEIR SKILL WITH M. I. T. AGAIN

1927 Quintet, Hard Hit by Injuries, Will Try to Repeat Their 32-18 Win Over Engineer Cubs

Six weeks ago the Freshman five proved itself a better team than the first year M. I. T. combination, and tonight at 7 o'clock it will endeavor to show that it has retained its superiority. The game will be played at the Tech gymnasium.

The Crimson won the earlier contest with the Engineer cubs 32 to 18 at Remenway on January 16, in a lustre-less game marked chiefly by both teams fondness, for long shots. The losers made an unimpressive showing and their record since that time scarcely augurs a reversal of form this evening.

The hard luck which has been camping on Coach Chase's trail all season made another inroad into the Crimson ranks yesterday. Leekley, the team's high scorer and Hesse, dependable replacement men at either guard or for ward, were both absent from practice on account of illness, and it is doubtful if either can play tonight.
