Upsets Only Remaining Seeded Player in Squash Tourney

The only remaining seeded player in the University squash tournament, G. B. Debevoise '26, followed the fate of his erstwhile colleagues when he was defeated yesterday in the semi-finals by J. D. Du Bois '24, by the score of 15-12, 10-15, 11-15, 15-12, 15-9.

By becoming a finalist Du Bois will play either M. P. Baker 1G. or Lawrence Foster 3L. for the University title. The latter, by defeating W. D. Macpherson 1L. yesterday, will also have an opportunity to become the Law School champion by defeating the winner of the Channing Wakefield 3L. J. H. Douglas 3L. match. The Business School tournament has reached the same stage as these two competitions for J. C. Bancroft 2G.B. is waiting to play either R. W. Bosworth 1G.B. or B. H. Gordon 1G.B. for the title. The Engineering and Graduate School tournaments have been completed with the victory of R. C. Bostwick 4E.S. in the former and L. G. Brewer 1G. in the latter.

Harvard has three representatives in the Team B. tournament being held at the Union Boat Club courts, which has also reached the semi-finals. Tomorrow the finalist in the University tournament will play a fellow member of the Harvard Squash Team B. P. R. Pease '26, in the upper half of the semi-finals. While in the lower half, H. B. Rawlins '27, captain of the Freshman squash team, will be striving for a victory over A. H. King of the Milton Squash Club.
