SYMPHONY QUARTET TO PLAY IN MUSIC BUILDING AT 10

The Boston Symphony Quartet will play several of Beethoven's compositions in Paine Hall this morning at 10 o'clock. The general public as well as the students enrolled in Music 4 will be welcome, it was announced last night by Professor W. R. Spalding '87 of the Music Department.

The quartet is composed of Carlos Pinfield, first violin; Lloyd Stone-street, second violin; Harry Grover, viola; and Leon Marjollet, violoncello. Their program will include Beethoven's famous "Quartet in C Minor," the great composer's best known quartet number.

Today's concert is a feature of the Music 4 program, which aims at an analytical study of symphonic masterpieces from the point of view of the listener.
