MOORE TO GIVE TALK ON "FIVE GREAT AUTHORS"

The second of the series of lectures on "Five Great Authors" will be given this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock in, Emerson D, when Professor C. H. Moore '89 will speak on the life and writings of Horace.

The large attendance at Professor C. B. Gulick's masterly discourse on Plato a week ago is an indication of the popularity that the course will enjoy. The lectures are offered primarily as a guide to outside study on the part of Harvard and Radcliffe students, but they are so designed as to be of general interest.

In connection with Professor Moore's lecture an exhibition of books relating to Horace is on display in the Treasure Room of the Widener Library.

The remaining lectures in the course will be given on successive Wednesdays by Professors G. L. Kittredge '82, C. H. C. Wright '91, and J. D. M. Ford '94, who will discuss Shakespeare, Moliere, and Cervantes respectively.
