FRESHMAN ELECTION DATE ADVANCED TO NEXT WEEK

HAMLEN IS UP FOR PRESIDENT; SEDGWICK FOR VICE-PRES.

The Freshman elections will be held next Tuesday, February 26, instead of Thursday of this week, it was announced last night by the Freshman Affairs Committee of which K. S. Pfaffmann '24 is chairman. The reason assigned for the change is that Thursday, being the day before a holiday, would be an inconvenient date for a large proportion of the class.

The period for nominations by petition closed last night with several changes in the list of nominees. Nathaniel Hamlen of Boston, originally up for vice-president has been nominated by petition for president and has therefore withdrawn his candidacy for the other office.

Clement Duane Coady of West Newton has withdrawn from the presidential candidates and has been renominated for vice-president. Francis Minturn Sedgwick of Cambridge has also been nominated by petition for vice-president.

There are two nominees by petition for secretary-treasurer, Carl Gustave Ture Lundell of Dorohester and Frederick Paul Houck of Buffalo, N. Y.

The final list of nominees now stands:
