Dr. John Roach Straton, noted Fundamentalist, and Dr. Harry Emerson Fosdick equally noted Modernist, are among the speakers on the December calendar of Phillips Brooks House Association, announced yesterday. Both these men will discuss some phase of this most acute of religious controversies, of which they represent the opposite points of view.
The first event on the calendar comes today when the Reverend Dr. A. H. Clark of Bombay, India, will address the second meeting of the Mission Forum. He will give an illustrated lecture on India, at Peabody Hall, Phillips Brooks House, at 7 o'clock.
The series of religious lectures which have been given all fall on Sunday afternoons at 4 o'clock will continue.
