WINS PRIZE FROM "JUDGE" AS CROSS-WORD PUZZLER

Another opportunity for working one's way through college has been seized upon by a Harvard student, and, although not yet recognized by the University Employment Bureau, it bids fair to become increasingly popular. In the current number of "Judge", A. M. Pelham 2G.B. is announced as the winner of the $25 prize offered weekly for the best cross-word puzzle submitted.

Pelham's puzzle is rectangular in shape, featuring the word JUDGE in bold black letters, with "Ha Ha" rampant on a checked background in the corners. An unusual feature is two unkeyed words, each with a single letter, which gives the puzzle an unusually bizarre aspect.
